Affordable face to face and online talking therapy in Bristol
Imogen Grasby
Person-centred counsellor
About me
I’m Imogen, a trainee counsellor currently studying at BCPC and due to qualify in 2027. I work integratively, drawing on the strengths of both person-centred and psycho-dynamic therapy.
I have experience working with a range of issues, including bereavement, addiction, anxiety, and depression. I welcome clients from all walks of life and am committed to creating a space that feels safe, inclusive, and genuinely supportive.
My way of working is collaborative and compassionate. I don't believe it is my role to fix or advise, but rather to walk alongside you and help you access resources and insight you already possess.
I hope that the growth and understanding that can come from a meaningful therapeutic relationship can open the door to treating yourself with greater kindness and self-compassion. Therapy, at its best, is not about being told what to do — it is about being truly heard, perhaps for the first time, and discovering what becomes possible when that happens.
If you are considering counselling and are unsure whether it is right for you, I would encourage you to reach out. I offer an initial introductory phone call where we can talk about what has brought you to therapy, and see whether it feels like a good fit for you.
Booking & Fees
I offer a free introductory phone call
so I can hear a little about what brings
you to therapy. After this we can book
in a weekly session time.
I see clients both in-person in central
Bristol as well as online.
Sessions take place once a week for
50 minutes and I am currently charging a trainee fee of £35. The fee is payable by bank transfer before each session
